Walt Disney World Resorts: Moderate Resorts Cheat Sheets

Last week, we provided an introduction to moderate resorts. If you haven't seen it, we recommend starting there. This week, we're providing our moderate resort "cheat sheets" that breakdown and compare all the moderate resorts in a quick way.

As a recap from last week, Walt Disney World classifies their regular resorts (excluding campground and DVC which we'll get to later) into three categories with increasing price points. From highest to lowest price point, they are:

  • Value

  • Moderate

  • Deluxe

Walt Disney World has 4 moderate resorts. Two of them, the Port Orleans resorts, are sister resorts and are right next to each other. The other two are independently situated, with one, Caribbean Beach Resort, on the skyliner near Disney Hollywood Studios, and the other, Coronado Springs Resort, near Blizzard Beach and Animal Kingdom.

As a reminder, this text can get tiny in the body of this blog post, but if you click on a cheat sheet, you will be able to see it full size.

Port Orleans Resorts

Caribbean Beach Resort

Coronado Springs Resort

Next week, we will begin to explore deluxe resorts. There are more (7) deluxe resorts than any other category of resorts at Walt Disney World, so we are going to divide that category into three subcategories - Monorail loop resorts, International Gateway resorts, and Other. Stay tuned for extra, extra amenities at the deluxe resorts. If you like this post, come follow us on Facebook where you can see when new articles are posted each week. Until next time...
